Is there Really Any Opportunity Left in
Affiliate Marketing?
I was joking when I
asked this. Of course there is opportunity in
affiliate marketing. Why wouldn't there be? The
internet is absolutely huge. A lot of people are
making a great deal of money whether it is through
affiliate marketing or something else like freelance
writing.
Just take a moment to
think about all the websites and the millions of
people who go online daily. A huge chunk of those
people are going shopping or looking to solve a
problem they are having. They need help to find what
they are looking for.
Would you like to help
them by providing them with some helpful advice and then
make a true recommendation to a good affiliate product
you think will really help them? That is what affiliate
marketing is all about.
If you have ever been to clickbank.com and have gone to
their marketpace to search for a product then chances are you
have searched by category. You will notice there is a statistic
underneath each affiliate product that says gravity and then a
number.
That number represents how many affiliate marketers have
made any commissions off of that one product over the past
month. The best selling products usually have around 400 and
they tend to be in the make money online market niche or the
weight loss market.
That is one thing to keep in mind the next time you want to
make an excuse as to why you don't want to work on your
affiliate business today. I mean the amount of opportunity
online is mind boggling if you really get into thinking about
it all.
As an affiliate marketer you can be creative since you are
an entreprenuer and have control over where your business is
heading. You can think outside the box and get creative in
order to make some affiliate sales. You can get very good at
making money by working hard and coming up with some great
ideas.
To help drive your imagination I will give you some great
ideas that can be used to really get your affiliate sites some
good traffic and have people buy your products you are
recommending.
Lets say you were promoting a product that teaches you how
to make money online through affiliate marketing. Well you
probably already know enough about that by now to fill up your
site with good content. But beyond that when you make a
recommendation for something like a make money product people
would generally be interested if you added a bonus that would
actually help them.
Something like a video of you going through the whole
process of creating an affiliate site or doing helpful keyword
research. But that is the kind of thing people would jump for
because they know you are trying to help them when you have
made a gesture like that.
Another idea would be if you were in the guitar playing
market and your affiliate product was a video series teaching
how to play guitar. You could post videos of yourself playing
songs if you knew how to play guitar. Or maybe you could post a
song of somebody else then have a link to your affiliate
site.
Ideas like that will really help you take advantage of the
massive opportunity the internet has for those of you who want
to make some great affiliate sales.
