How to Have Laser Like Focus as an Affiliate Marketer

Today I want to talk about something that is very important not just in the affiliate marketing business but in anything that you want to get good at. Whether it is making money online or learning how to play an instrument you need to focus and the more focused you are the better the results will be.

Bruce Lee once said, "A successful warrior is an average man (or woman) with laser-like focus.". Being the legend and hero he was and still is to many (including me) I think if there was anybody you could learn from this guy would be one of them.

Not only did he have unbelievable focus but he also had a work ethic that was unmatched. He would train for up to 9 hours a day. He believed that the human body should be pushed to the limit to see how far you could go.

I know affiliate marketing is not like strength training and you don't even break a sweat unless you get nervous about not getting your affiliate site ranked high. But it truly is about having strong focus.

It is about getting serious about your internet business. You need to get to work on it as much as possible and forget about all other distractions. If you really want to make any kind of money then first of all you need to learn the right ways.

But then you need to take action. And that is you when you need to focus. If you are reading aaffiliate ebook you need to make sure you get all the details into your head and study it.

I know for many of you it may seem hard because you have to work over time or you have to take care of family. But there must be some time each day that you can set aside. Get on the computer, close the door, make sure it is very quiet, there are no distractions, and get right into it.

Set goals for your self. Do something like write down your schedule on a piece of paper and pencil in at least an hour of working on your affiliate business. Devise a solid affiliate strategy and plan so that you have everything down and are completely organized for when you do go to work online.

Let's just say you can only spare two hours out of each day. In these two hours you cancel out all other distractions so you have laser like fcous on your affiliate business. You really can get a lot done in a couple of hours. Here is a small list of what you could get done with laser like focus in just two hours.

• Set up two or three affiliate sites
• Do keyword research on google's keyword tool and find ten or more profitable keywords
• Read an affiliate guide on how to better your internet business
• Create a master plan for your affiliate business by writing down what to do on which days
• Do product research on an affiliate network like clickbank or commission junction until you have ten products
• Write up three or four pages or posts to your affiliate sites
• If you have some extra money invest it into a solid tool or service like an autoresponder for your sites and learn how to use it well

The list continues. The whole point of this is to get you inspired and push you to focus on your affiliate business. Just keep in mind that it will take months to even get your fist affiliate sales. It does not matter how many hours you put into your affiliate business, it is how much you put into those hours and the more focused you are the more you will get done.
