Building Rich Content for Your Affiliate
Site
So hopefully if you read the last post you have a good
understanding on the keyword research for your affiliate site.
Like I said there is no need to go out and get a keyword tool
although I have heard about a lot of great ones like keyword
elite. But all you need is the keyword tool at google.com
especially if you are on a budget.
Now let me discuss my affiliate strategy on building the
content for my affiliates. This is the most important part for
your visitors because it is the content that will build trust
as well as help your potential customers solve whatever problem
they are having.
It does not matter if it is losing weight or making money
online you need to HELP them if you want to ever make enough
money and run your affiliate business full time.
Not only should your content presell your visitors so they
click through your affiliate links but it should also have some
keywords to help with your search engine rankings.
This is important because if you have been in internet
marketing for any amount of time and know a little about SEO
then you may have heard something like keyword density is
important. That is simply not true any more and is a myth.
Search engines like google actually want to see keywords
related to your main keyword throughout the content.
All the important places like the title, description, and
meta tags were made for your main keyword while the content
should have a variety of keywords that are known as LSI
keywords. When you go to the keyword tool on google and enter
your main keyword you will find a ton of keywords related to
that. Whatever terms are on the list are the variations
and the synonyms that you want to include in all of your
content.
For your affiliate site to have a good effect for SEO you
should include, I would say at least 10 of these simaliar
keywords in each post/page of your affiliate site. The main
keyword can be sprinkled a few times but you should get the
whole concept of keyword density out of your head.
Your content also needs to be helpful to the visitors. If
your main term that you rank for in the search engines was
"how to build muscle" and you had an affiliate product lined up
then you would provide tips on how to build muscle with a
recommendation to the product.
So you might have guessed by now that in order to build an
effective affiliate site you should know a little bit about
your topic. Either that or outsource for a few bucks. The more
competitive the term is to rank for, the more content you will
need to build a better site.
There is nothing to worry about if you are behind
because you have the internet as the number one source for
learning just about anything. It does not matter if you are in
affiliate marketing and are using it for your affiliate
marketing strategy or just writing a paper for school.
On top of filling your affiliate site with related
keywords and helpful information it would only benefit you to
have some personality. Don't be afraid of giving out your first
name when you write a post or post up a picture in the about me
page. Every little bit will make people want to come back and
eventually buy whatever affiliate product you recommend from
clickbank.
This is the same affiliate strategy I use for building
content and it really is not complicated. Just be yourself and
help out the crowd so that they will return the favor even if
they don't know it. Help people. That is what affiliate
marketing is all about.
