Affiliate Niche Sites vs Authority Sites

This has always been an interesting topic among not just affiliate marketers but all internet marketers who build sites targeted towards selling stuff. Whether it be affiliate products or your own product like an ebook. Before I compare the two kinds of affiliate sites let me just explain what each one is for those who are unfamiliar.

Niche sites are small sites that have little content but it's sole purpoe is to make some quick affiliate sales for the webmaster. Most of the time they are just blogs with a recommendation to a good affiliate product from the clickbank marketplace.

Authority sites are big sites that sites like Wikipedia would fall under. They usually have at least 50 pages of valuable content and cover more than one topic.

So with these two totally different kinds of affiliate sites you can imagine there are several factors you can compare the two with.
